The PM Internship Scheme 2025, introduced by the MCA, focuses on a 12-month internship program aimed at providing young people with practical skills across different industries. This scheme was created to close the gap between the classroom and the shop floor through professional work experience, thus making the participant more emplyoble and enhancing career opportunities.
The scheme will be provided with a stipend of ₹6,000 per month, of which ₹4,500 will be provided by the government and ₹500 by the host organization. The successful candidates will also receive a one-time grant of ₹6,000 as a monetary incentive. it is a massive step toward enabling youth with industry-relevant skills and work exposure.
Applicants must be between 21 to 24 years as of the application deadline.
Educational Qualification
Must have completed at least Class 10 or hold an equivalent qualification.
Graduates with degrees such as BA, BSc, B.Com, BCA, BBA, or technical diplomas (ITI/Polytechnic) are eligible.
